Baked Sweet and Sour Chicken

sweet and sour sauce

I’ve mentioned before how much I love our local Chinese restaurant.  I’ve also mentioned that as much as I love it we can’t always go there when I get the hankering for it.  So, I’ve learned to do what most people do when they want something they can’t have…I learned to make it myself.

The sauce that coats this baked sweet and sour chicken is so yummy! sweet and sour sauce

I used it to go over some bone-in legs and thighs that I cooked in the oven. sweet and sour sauce

I basted them a couple of times while they were cooking. Then used the rest of the sauce as a gravy to put over rice. sweet and sour sauce

OMG this is sooo good!  Give it a try. I bet you will say the same thing.
