This is a quick and easy homemade spaghetti sauce recipe. It completely replaces buying store bought and it tastes so much better. It’s not complicated at all and you can have dinner on the table in about 30 minutes. These types of quick and easy meals are my favorite for any day of the week.
With the exception of onions there are no veggies. My family WILL NOT eat vegetables in their spaghetti sauce. I’ve tried to put really small chopped carrots in it just to add some extra nutritional value and it was a big fat “MOM! What did you do?” type of thing. They picked out every last little carrot and sat ‘em to the side, never to be touched again.
I’ve even tried to add zucchini. That was a bigger mistake. They wouldn’t even eat the sauce with those in it. Chopped up tomatoes? NOPE! What the heck is tomato sauce made from? TOMATOES! But they wouldn’t eat them either. So I’ve just given up trying to add veggies and just make them a salad for the side.
Here’s my simple, no frills, homemade turkey spaghetti sauce.
Feel free to add veggies IF your family will eat them. If you do can I come over and have some?

Come on over Adrian, tomatoes are always in my sauce! Sounds like an easy recipe and I like the fact of using turkey instead of beef for a change. Now I’m craving a turkey dinner!
