I have a confession to make…I’m a snacker. Yep, that’s me…a snacker. Phew! I’m so glad to get that off my conscience! It was eating me up!! Although I like to snack on just about anything, popcorn is ONE of my favorite. And although I would, more often than not, rather have a salty snack, nothing compares with this really crunchy and just a tad bit sweet of goodness I’m about to share with you.
Sometimes sweet is, well, sweet. And to me, a tad bit sweet, is even sweeter. I like chomping on it in the evening when watching an end-of-day tv show. The kids are in bed and the house is quiet. Well, except for the low volume of the tv and the chomp, chomp, chomp I’m doing on this bowl of deliciousness.
Life is good.
Oh yeah, life is soooo good!
Ingredients
- 8 cups air-popped popcorn
- 3 TBSP brown sugar
- 3 TBSP butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Spray large cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
- Pour popcorn in large bowl.
- Stir brown sugar and butter in small saucepan over low heat until mixture is smooth and butter is melted; immediately pour over popcorn. Toss to coat evenly.
- Pour onto prepared pan. Bake for 4 minutes.
- Remove pan from oven and stir.
- Return pan to oven for an additional 2 minutes or until popcorn is golden brown and appears crackled.
Notes
Tip: Watch this last 2 minutes carefully. It will not take long for the popcorn to go from brown and delicious to burnt and stinky. Some things are learnt the hard way!
Check out where I linky party!
