Boy do I have a treat for you to-DAY! These little Christmas Oreo cookie balls are da-bomb, you guys!

They’re just so cute, yummy and darn easy to make You can make them a one-bite or a two-bite size. Personally? I like the double your pleasure size! I figure if you’re gonna eat something this delightful you might as well just go ahead and go all out. Am I right? You bet your bottom dollar I am.

All it takes to make these little babies is crumblin’ your Oreos in the , mixin’ with some cream cheese, ballin’, coatin’ and eatin’!

And if there is any left when you get done nibblin’? They would make a great holiday treat for family, friends, neighbors or teachers.

Christmas Oreo Cookie Balls

Prep Time: 40 minutes

Total Time: 40 minutes

Yield: Approximately 24

Ingredients

  • 1 (15.5oz) bag of Oreo cookies
  • 1 (8oz) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ (12oz) bag candy melts, red
  • ½ (12oz) bag candy melts, green
  • green sugar crystals
  • red sugar crystals

Instructions

  1. Put Oreo cookies in food processer and process until ground to fine crumbs.
  2. Pour crumbs into bowl and add softened cream cheese. Mix until completely combined.
  3. Chill dough for 30 minutes.
  4. Form dough into 1 to 2 inch balls.
  5. Melt candy according to package directions in two separate bowls.
  6. Coat each ball with melted candy and place on parchment or wax paper.
  7. Immediately sprinkle top with alternate color sugar crystals.
  8. Store in refrigerator after candy has set.

Prep time includes chill time.
