Slow Cooker Peanut Clusters

slow cooker peanut clusters

If you’ve been reading my blog for any length of time you know how much I LOVE my slow cooker. It is THE best kitchen appliance I own. Slow cooker recipes are a person’s (my) way of making delicious meals without doing much more than throwing everything in a pot, walking away from said pot and then returning a few hours later to a complete meal. What’s better than that I might ask? NOTHING! Unless of course, it’s dessert your returning to:)

Which is what these slow cooker peanut clusters totally are! This recipe is my simple way of making a big batch of DE-LISH-OUS chocolaty peanutty goodness without a whole lot of fuss.

Another thing my slow cooker does for this recipe is keep the chocolate warm while I drop tablespoonfuls of this yumminess onto some wax paper. If you’ve ever used almond bark to make candy you know that the longer it’s off the stove, the cooler it gets which makes it harder to work with. The slow cooker stays warm even after it’s turned off and helps to prevent the chocolate from becoming too stiff to work with. AWESOMENESS in a pot!

The hardest part of this slow cooker peanut clusters recipe? Waiting for the chocolate to set so you can eat the candy!

WARNING! This recipe makes A LOT of candy. Make sure you have either (1) a few people to share it with or (2) some self control! Good thing I have a whole house full of people to share with:)
